What I Got For Christmas 2015

I hope everyone had an amazing Christmas! I did, I got absolutely spoiled this year, and I've been watching and reading loads of What I Got For Christmas posts and videos, and I thought I would do one too!
This post is a big one though, so get yourself comfy, and I'll try my hardest not to go off on a ramble when talking about some things, but no promises!
And boring quick disclaimer: No I am not trying to brag or be rude, I am simply showing people what I received for my Christmas this year, as I love watching and reading these types of videos and posts!

The Classic Christmas Makeup Look

Hello, long time no post! I had planned to post my £10 and Under Gift Guide last week, but things came up and it meant I had literally no time to type up any posts. But I managed to put together this 'classic' Christmas look, with a shimmery gold eye and a red lip.

Current Weekend Makeup Routine

I can't remember the last time I done a makeup routine, I think it was in the April or May, and my makeup routine has changed a lot since then, so I thought I would show you. 

I put 'weekend' in the title as I only wear this kind of look during the weekend, I don't wear this much makeup to school , as I am extremely lazy and tired and I would much rather spend an extra 20 minutes in bed and then rushing to slap on some makeup rather than spending ages putting loads of makeup on.

The Go-All Out Beauty Gift Guide!

This week, the only posts and videos I've been seeing in my Bloglovin feed and Youtube subscription box have been Christmas gift guides. So, I thought that it was finally acceptable for me to fully embrace my Christmas spirit and start making up my own gift guides! I'm thinking about doing three gift guides; a go-all-out one (which you're reading now), an under £25 one, and a £10 and under one.

All the gifts in this post are under £100, so they're perfect if you want to splurge on a particular person!

Updated Skincare Routine 2015

About two months ago, my skin broke out quite badly, especially on my forehead and chin. I had red, angry spots popping up all over my face, which I felt really self conscious about, and I buried my face in 6 layers of concealer when I went to school. 

I tried out a few different products, and I think I've got a good routine of products that works with my skin and clears up my skin and prevents the majority of spots (although I do get the odd annoying spot).

New In: November 2015

So... I've been shopping recently. What's new? Well, recently, Boots have been doing a 3 for 2 across all make up, which we all know is very dangerous for people like me. 

A few weeks ago, I was out buying Christmas shopping and I was determined to buy some presents for my family and friends. What did I end up buying? One little Christmas present and then some make up goodies for myself. Whoops...

US Beauty Wishlist

Like every other make up-obsessed girl living in the UK, I dream of going to the Motherland (aka Sephora) and buying every piece of makeup in sight. 

I'm going to confess something - Sometimes I like to sit for hours and put things into my basket on the Sephora website, and then reach that sad moment where I have click off of the website and continue on with my day.

Products I Regret Buying // July 2015

I love watching and reading these type of videos and blog posts, I find them really interesting and love seeing what products people are disappointed by. I always thought that I could never do one of these posts, because I didn't think I owned any products that disappointed me or things I regretted buying. But after looking through my make up collection, I've realised that there are quite a few products that I wasn't completely happy with.

Beauty Haul // May 2015

MAC Soft and Gentle Review

Two of my friends bought me the MAC Mineralised Skin Finish in Soft and Gentle for my birthday a few weeks ago, and I was beyond happy when I opened it, because I had been lusting over this for months! I always feel like a proper beauty blogger when I wear this, as it feels so fancy and luxurious. I thought I would put together a review of this highlighter as I have became obsessed with it over the past few weeks!

May Favourites 2015

I can't believe it's already May! I know this sounds so cheesy, but I feel as if these past months have went by so fast! I've been doing a lot of shopping and trying out new products recently, so I have been loving quite a few things this month!

Look Inside My Make Up Bag

So today, I'm letting you see what I keep in my make up bag! This is usually the things I bring if I'm staying at someone's house and plan on wearing make up the next day, or if I don't have time to do my make up in the morning and have to take my make up bag with me. I usually only wear a full face of make up at the weekend, and tend to stick to lighter make up during the week for school, so this is the make up products I bring with me at the weekend. (That was a unnecessarily long intro..)

Today I am going to tell you about my top five drugstore (or high street if you live in the UK like me!) make up products. I am a drugstore junkie, I love drugstore products, as they're so affordable and most of the products work very well, and you can usually find amazing dupes for high end products!

Current Foundation Routine

To be quite honest, I was very stuck for ideas for this blog post! It's my birthday soon (My birthday is actually the day this post is being uploaded on, so happy birthday to me!) 

I was looking through Bloglovin for inspiration for something to do a post on, and I suddenly thought of doing a foundation routine, as recently I have been changing some of the products I use.

My Pamper Routine

So I done one of these posts a few months ago, but I wasn't really happy with it and the photos weren't good quality and it was very rushed. So I thought I would do an updated one!

I usually only have these types of pamper nights when I've had a long day, or if I'm feeling down, but sometimes I like to just have a nice relaxing night and pamper myself for no reason!

Refresh Your Make Up for Spring!

Hello! So it's finally Spring! I was planning on doing a Current Face of the Day or something like that, but lots of bloggers and Youtubers have been doing Spring make up looks, and I thought I could do it too!
I like using foundations with a light coverage, pretty blushes and coral pink lipsticks. I changed my usual weekend make up to a more light, and pinky make up look!

Night Time Skincare Routine

Hello again! I've been wanting to do this post for a while, because recently my skin broke out in spots, and I made my skincare routine a lot stricter and it seemed to help! So I decided to do a post on my night time skincare routine, as I don't tend to have a strict skincare routine in the morning, I usually just cleanse and apply moisturiser and then I'm done! Get Ready With Me: Dinner Edition

Hello everybody! This week I'm going out for a big family dinner, and I plan on going all out on make up! I'm going to be wearing a dark red lip, which is way out of my comfort zone, but I'm determined to bite the bullet and actually go outside wearing a lipstick that isn't a nude or a pale pink!

January Beauty Favourites!

Hello again! I can't believe it's already February! I took a lot of photos for this post, as the idea of grouping products together in photos didn't occur to me until I was editing the photos later! I'm so sorry that this post went up late, my laptop was acting up and I couldn't type up this post! I have quite a few beauty products to get through, so I'm going to get started!

Face:

●Revlon Highlighting Palette in 'Rose Glow' - I got this highlighter for my Christmas, I had been wanting it since Essiebutton featured it in one of her videos. The highligter is very shimmery, although not too shimmery that it makes you look like Edward from Twilight, just the right amount so that you have a nice glow on your cheeks. I've been wearing it so much over this past month!The photo doesn't do it justice, but the colours are so pretty, they all go very nicely together and the way it looks is one of the reasons I wanted it! It looks a bit like the Bobbie Brown Simmer Brick in 'Pink Quartz', although I don't know how comparable the actual product is, as I don't own any Bobbi Brown products!

Eyes:

●Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette - This palette is amazing! I also own the Naked 3 palette, and I wear that a lot, but for more neutral everyday colours, the Naked 2 is the palette for me! The palette has 12 unique eyeshadows, (with the exception of Half Baked, which was in the original Naked palette) and you can go from a natural everyday look, to a dark, smoky eye all in the one palette! Normally, I will use Booty Call all over the lid, with Tease in the crease and then Foxy as the inner corner highlight. I found myself reaching  for this palette throughout the entire month!

Lips:

MAC lipstick in 'Lovelorn' - I showed this in my Mini Lip Haul post at the start of the month. I love this lipstick! The finish is a lustre, which means the lipstick is very sheer, which is perfect for people like me who shy away from bright colours! I've been wearing this so much this month, I wear it mostly at the weekend, but it's so pretty on!

MAC Cremesheen Glass in 'Loud & Lovely' - This was also in my Mini Lip Haul, I've been wearing this so much this month! The colour of the product is not as bright as it looks in the tube, it comes out a lot sheerer, but you can build it up to be more opaque. The lipglass is not sticky, it's very glossy and it lasts so long on my lips!

Soap & Glory Sexy Motherpucker Gloss Stick in 'Nudist' - This is by far my most used product of this month! I wear this lipstick almost everyday for school, as it's very glossy and has a really pretty nude tint to it. This is not sticky at all, I find it really moisturising on my lips and it lasts so long, which is what I need for school! When I'm in a rush, and don't have time to think about what lip product to use, I usually just apply this and throw it in my bag!

Urban Outfitters Holographic Nail Polish - This is by far my favourite thing I've bought this year! It's so pretty! I uploaded a post all about this polish last week (here!), so I won't rant on too much! This polish lasts for days on my nails without chipping, and it's so pretty to look at! I've received loads of compliments on this whenever I wear it and it has a proud place in the front row of my nail polish stand! 

Lush Prince Charming Shower Gel - The scent of this is heavenly! It smells like marshmallows and vanilla, it's very sweet and sugary! I just got the smallest bottle, as it was £4,75, the biggest bottle was around £16 I think, which I think is a bit much for a shower gel! When you use this, it creates so much bubbles and the scent lingers for so long afterwards!

So those were my January favourites! Again, I'm so sorry that this post was late! I'm actually going away for the weekend with my friends on Friday, so I'm scheduling a post to go up for Sunday as usual!
